Meet God In The Morning

The best way we can strengthen our faith and walk closer with God is to spend time with him praying and reading his word.

The Bible often highlights the morning as a special time to seek God. Starting the day in prayer and study helps us focus our hearts on Him before the busyness of life begins.

David wrote, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly” (Psalm 5:3).

Likewise, Jesus set the example: “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1:35).

If you can make the time in the morning to read, study and pray it may be the best time. Why? Our heads are more clear and we have a new fresh look on the day to come.

While the Bible often points to the morning as a meaningful time to meet with God, it also teaches us to pray and be with God continually (1Thessalonians 5:17).

So whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night, what really matters most is making time to be with Him.

God is always ready to hear us, and remember every moment spent in His presence strengthens our faith.
