Ever heard someone say that to you? Or been in a situation where you have to try to decide how to do something? Or wondered if you’re making the right decisions?
Guys, we don’t have to just figure it out on our own.
There’s a lot of pressure on us to always have the answers, to know what move to make, what decision to make, and what direction to take.
God never intended for us to walk through life relying only on our own understanding.
Listen to what Proverbs 3:5–6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
The Bible gives us wisdom when we don’t know what to do, direction when we feel lost, and correction when we’re headed the wrong way.
The key is to look for the guidance and wisdom in the Word of God, the Bible.
Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
When we need specific wisdom, we can ask God for it.
James 1:5 says that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously.
So men, we don’t have to carry the weight of having everything figured out.
Seek God. Pray. Open His Word. Follow His direction.
His Word helps us make decisions, strengthens us to lead well, and keeps our lives pointed in the right direction.
We don’t need to know every step—we just need to trust the One who does.
