Is God Using War for His Purposes? A Biblical Perspective on Israel, Iran, and Trusting God

You have all probably  heard the USA and Israel just struck Iran last night and there has been a build up of military assets around that area for several weeks now. Whether you agree or disagree with this action it is our right either way and we must respect everyone’s opinion. I wanted to give us today a little perspective on Gods possible view of why this may be happening.

Many believe God spared president Trumps life at the assignation attempt this past year. And many also Believe God may be using him to give people reasons and an opportunity to come back to God.

Throughout the Bible, we see that God sometimes allowed war and fighting as a means to protect His people and fulfill His purposes, not because He delights in violence, but because He is a just defender of what is good.

In Exodus, God fought for Israel against the Egyptians, reminding His people, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14).

Battles were often less about human strength and more about trusting God’s power and obedience to His command.

Under leaders like Joshua, God used warfare to protect Israel from destruction and to preserve the nation through which His promises would come.

Even David, a man after God’s own heart, was called to fight to defend God’s people from their enemies. These moments show us that God is a warrior for His people, standing against evil and protecting those who belong to Him (Exodus 15:3).

Ultimately, these accounts point us to a God who defends, delivers, and keeps His promises, reminding us that our security is found not in our own strength, but in Him.

Like Joshua it is conceivable God could be using President trump in a similar way in history protecting his people. (Not  only Israel but all of us from evil)

We don’t know what Gods plans or why he does things or lets things happen, but we do know this…

We are all called to trust him and that he loves us and will protect us until the end of time.

Let’s all take a deep breath and trust in Him!
