Rest Before The Battle
Men, “rest assured”
As men, we often feel the responsibility to always be strong, provide, lead, and keep moving forward. But God never called us to carry every burden without taking time to rest.
Rest is not weakness. Rest is an act of faith.
Really? How you ask?
It’s trusting God enough to slow down, be still, and allow Him to renew our strength. The spiritual journey is not a race. It’s a walk with God.
There will be seasons when we need to step away from the noise, spend time in prayer, breathe, and allow God to refresh our hearts and minds.
The Bible says, “He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:3
Jesus also reminds us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Sometimes, God wants to restore us before He sends us back into the battle.
So, brothers, don’t feel guilty for taking time to rest. Take time to be with God, enjoy your family, clear your mind, and strengthen your spirit.
You don’t always have to be strong for everyone else.
Sometimes, you simply need to rest in the One who is strong for you.
