17th Annual Wingman Nation Golf Tournament Recap

The 17th Annual Wingman Nation Charity Golf Tournament, held on March 6, 2026, at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland, was an incredible day of fellowship, generosity, and purpose.

Men from across the community came together not just to play golf, but to be part of something bigger. The day included a full schedule of events, from a putting contest and shotgun start to an evening dinner, raffle, and program that brought everything together.

Golfers enjoyed a first-class experience with lunch, tournament giveaways, and a full dinner to close out the day. Highlights included the Par 5 long drive professional experience, the hole-in-2 contest, and opportunities to win incredible prizes, including a dream golf trip and even a new or classic car.

More than anything, the day was marked by strong fellowship, meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Every detail, from the hospitality to the flow of the event, reflected the heart behind Wingman Nation and the community that continues to grow around it.

We are incredibly grateful for every sponsor, volunteer, vendor, and golfer who made this event possible. Your generosity and participation are what allow this mission to continue moving forward.

A Word from Our Tournament Director:

Our Tournament Director, John, shared this reflection on the day:

“This year’s Wingman Golf Tournament was not only a resounding success, it was, without question, the most organized and relaxing tournament I’ve experienced in my 6 years as Tournament Director. From our outstanding vendors, to our incredible volunteers, to the catering and hospitality team at the course, to the course pro and the City of Lakeland management, everything came together seamlessly. No chaos, no scrambling, just a smooth, fun day with a great purpose behind it.”

Golf for a Good Cause

This “great purpose” is what truly sets the Wingman Nation Golf Tournament apart.

Wingman Nation is proud to support the vital work of One More Child, providing Christ-centered care for foster children, hungry children, trafficked children, vulnerable children, single mothers, and struggling families both locally and around the world.

Our commitment is simple yet powerful: Love Changes Lives.

Because of the generosity of everyone involved, the proceeds from this tournament will go directly toward supporting this life-changing mission. Together, we are helping bring hope, healing, and transformation to those who need it most.

We thank God for all that was accomplished through this event and look forward to what He will continue to do through Wingman Nation.
