How to Recognize Satan's Deception
Deception!
Now that is a strong and very negative word and is a main tool used by Satan to bring us down and make us think about things not of God.
The Bible reminds us that Satan is a deceiver who tries to lead us away from God’s truth through temptation and lies. But we don’t have to face those battles alone. God has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His strength to help us stand firm.
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 (NIV)
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” — Ephesians 6:11 (NIV)
No matter what temptations come our way, God is faithful. As we stay close to Him through prayer, read His Word, and trust His promises, He gives us the wisdom to recognize deception and the strength to overcome it.
